We are excited to walk with you, and we hope you are too! However, in the event that unexpected circumstances arise, please note our cancellation policy below:

Cancellations are based on a standard cancellation fee, which is a 0% fee or full refund, EXCEPT FOR when the cancellation is made within less than 10 calendar days before the tour. A breakdown of cancellation fees is described as follows: 

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance of the day of the tour will incur a 100% cancellation fee (i.e., 0% or NO refund)
• Cancellations made less than 4 days in advance of the day of the tour will incur a 50% cancellation fee (i.e., 50% refund)
• Cancellations made less than 10 days in advance of the day of the tour will incur a 25% cancellation fee (i.e., 75% refund)
• Cancellations made greater than 10 days in advance of the day of the tour will incur a 0% cancellation fee (i.e., 100% refund) 

This policy is in place to ensure that guides are fairly compensated and to support last-minute scheduling changes. This policy is displayed at the time of tour booking with a selection for customer agreement prior to purchase. Therefore, this policy will be upheld without exception.

Punctuality is valued at Fridays Tours because we want to impart the best experience to all of our guests, and our guides' schedules are to be respected. 

Our tours begin in one location with introductory and educational information provided. This allows for a strong foundation for the tour as well as allows additional time in the event of tardiness. A 10-minute grace period will be exercised if none of the party has shown by the tour start time. Please be aware that if you are in a mixed group (i.e., others besides your party will be in this tour), the tour will continue regardless of whether or not all parties show on time.

We advise dressing appropriately for the forecasted weather. High temperatures and strong sun may require additional preparation on the part of participants in order to address comfort and hydration needs. We will plan to walk in light or sporadic rain, which may necessitate some advanced planning to ensure that you have a rain poncho or umbrella to keep you and your party comfortable.

Extreme weather that limits the ability to safely and comfortably participate in tours will observed. Should inclement weather arise, you and your party will be contacted and all possible efforts will be made to reschedule your tour. If rescheduling is not possible, negotiations for a refund will be exercised. This will be on a case-by-case basis. Lisbon weather is typically mild, and therefore, it is expected that most tours will be conducted as scheduled.
